Ready to roll for the Summer of 2017. The Ocean City Boardwalk welcomes GaleForce…. the crazy & wild new Roller Coaster at Playland’s Castaway Cove.

Playland Castaway Cove in Ocean City is owned by Scott Simpson.

“We were able to put a neat little package together in a very small footprint that gives you exciting elements,” said Tim Timco, vice president of sales and marketing for S&S Worldwide the company that built the coaster.

“Our guys did a super job. Scott Simpson was wonderful. He’s one of the most knowledgeable park owners to work with. Between what he had in his head and our engineering, we had to come up with this beautiful coaster.”

The ride features a 100-degree drop, a 180-degree twisting climb, an off-camber dive drop, a corkscrew roll, a top hat twist, and a raven dive.
