Atlantic City Council President Small Attacks Change of Government Petition

Is Atlantic City Council President, Marty Small, playing the race card again? Observers are saying that on social media.

Described as a ‘NJ State puppet’, Marty Small said the recent petition drive to change the form of Atlantic City government is the latest attempt to wrestle control away from the city and its residents.

Ummm…hey Marty, you already lost control of your city. CRDA Zoning Czar, Lance Landgraf, controls most of AC now. Haven’t you noticed?

A petition is circulating to change Atlantic City’s form of government. The effort is being led by Local 54 President Bob McDevitt, with help from former state Sen. Ray Lesniak and Resorts Casino owner, Morris Bailey.

Marty says it’s all about skin color…..but actually….it’s about corruption, stupidity, and lack of self-awareness.

Most on council are 100% use-less. And Marty $mall is the leader of those chuckle-heads.

Small seems to forget that he signed over a large portion of Atlantic City to Stockton last year…without a fight. Shameful. But typical for Marty Small and City Council.

Oops. Marty $mall, who also oversees revenue & finance, didn’t notice that the unfair Casino PILOT law would actually HURT Atlantic City…. once certain gaming revenue levels were achieved. Nice job, Marty. All those degrees you have, didn’t seem to help.

Marty $mall has openly called the NJ State monitor, Jeffrey Chiesa, ‘his friend’. It’s no wonder. Team Small got a major hook-up recently when his wife, LaQuetta, got a sweet promotion in the school district…while demoting a popular AC high principal.

Did you know? Marty $mall is quite supportive of the CRDA too. He never fights back against their financial monkey business.

Small is also against CRDA holding their meetings at a time & location more convenient to residents.

NOTABLE: $mall forgets that 16 of 17 CRDA board members are white. He has no problem with that. $mall also has no problem that most CRDA board members are from out-of-town….with no real interest in the residents of Atlantic City.

That’s why Marty Small is not trusted. By anyone. Of any skin color.

Well, actually, the State of NJ trusts Marty. He always does what they want him to do. Marty is always rewarded for his loyalty to the State.

According to NJ.com: Marty $mall says: “this [potential, government] change would affect the historic African-American community, the growing immigrant community, and the local workforce. The council president also openly mused that the takeover had racial overtones, asking those assembled if they were living in New Jersey or Alabama, questioning the mindset Small Sr. says some people have that African-Americans and other races cannot govern municipalities.”
