Looking for those lower profile, Jersey shore hot spots where all the insiders go? Want to avoid the cookie-cutter, big box casinos? Here’s a fav places for good eats and family fun in Atlantic City, Brigantine and Margate.

Still on the top of our list….our 3  foodie favorites: Angelo’s Fairmount Tavern  for Italian, Wingcraft AC for Burgers and Picilli Pub on Tennessee Ave in AC for wings.

Fond of fresh & warm loaves of that famous Atlantic City bread? Rando’s in AC is tops.

Strawberry shortcake on your mind? Mino’s Bakery at 4100 Ventnor Ave. is mouth-watering and unbeatable.

Best pizza? Hit up Tony Baloney’s on Oriental Ave, behind the old REVEL. We call this place gourmet crazy pizza. You’ll love it, even though it’s in an out-of-the-way part of town.

Family fun with Jersey shore fishing: ‘The Keeper’ in Margate, HighRollerFishing.com in AC, and visit Captain Andy’s Rip Tide Bait and Tackle in Brigantine for tips on the excellent surf and jetty fishing in Brigantine.

Atlantic City Parasail (AtlanticCityParasail.com) at Gardner’s Basin.

Atlantic City beaches are free….but you can BBQ on the beach anytime in Ventnor….as long as you have a beach tag.
