The first phase of the Inlet Boardwalk project is well under-way.

This phase #1 portion is a $33 million project being constructed by J. Fletcher Creamer & Sons, Inc. from Hackensack, NJ. It incorporates a new seawall to protect the flood prone Inlet neighborhoods. Funding for this section is provided by the US Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Emergency Management Administration, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and the City of Atlantic City.

The final and 3rd phase of the Inlet Boardwalk project will connect Caspian Ave with Gardner’s Basin. This section of the project will go out to bid in the fall. A grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will help fund this phase.
