Straub’s REVEL to Rope Them in on Atlantic City Boardwalk

Ropes Course

The Atlantic City Boardwalk will soon feature a Ropes Course, thanks to a Florida developer with thick skin and deep pockets; Glenn Straub.

With the City of Atlantic City still stuck in municipal finance hell, the other AC known as the tourism district is doing quite well, thank you very much. Gaming profits are up, the Boardwalk is packed, and everybody’s favorite punching bag keeps chugging along, keeping his eye on the prize.

The Revel rebel known as Glenn Straub, is making progress with his Atlantic City Boardwalk property down by the inlet. Even with daily dissing by local radio & newspaper dorks, Straub keeps laying out cash, not asking for favors, and is helping to re-invent our wooden walkway.

The polo playin’, Spirit flyin’ developer has contracted with Ropes Courses Inc.

Soon to be installed on the Atlantic City Boardwalk in front of the former REVEL property:

  • 12 pole, 2 Level Sky Trail Navigator
  • Non-automated Sky Rail Zip Line
  • 6 pole stand-alone Sky Tykes

This is all part of Straub’s rejuvenation plan for the former Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Brushing off disrespectful jokes, road blocks, threats & inaccurate radio reports….Glenn Straub is breaking through.

It’s a fact. Smart hotels and destinations are adding family-oriented attractions like a ropes course or zip line. They’re proven to keep guests on-site longer and satisfaction high. Amusement attractions like these are powerful magnets to attract customers to a destination… over the competitor’s. That competitor could be a North Jersey Casino.

Ropes courses are known for safe, in-the-air excitement. The combination of the 2 courses at the former REVEL will appeal to all ages. The manufacturer has revolutionized the traditional tree-to-tree ropes courses and cable zip line design concepts. These once ‘youth only’ attractions, now appeal to a much wider range of age groups and venues. The casino, resort and hotel sector is embracing these new innovations.

The brand new Sky Trail will sit in the front of the REVEL in space previously used as a valet-parking drop-off area.
