Labor Day Weekend will feature competing Black Lives matter events in Atlantic City. On the same day BLM activist Steve Young will do his thing on the Boardwalk, Mayor Marty Small will try to steal some of Young’s thunder.

On Sept 2, in the Civil Rights Garden on MLK Blvd., Small announced that he’s organizing a competing event that will paint “Black Lives Matter” on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.  2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept 4.

Steve Young plans to paint BLM on Atlantic City Boardwalk at 1pm.

Mayor Small: “we’re not going to tolerate the embarrassing behavior any longer.” Small trying to soothe fears from business & residents. They believe things could get out of hand.

BLM activist, Steve Young, gearing up for what some call, an ‘anti-police’ rally at Boardwalk Hall. Medical experts describe events like these as ‘super-spreaders’, a petri-dish of virus ready to be shared.

AC Mayor Marty Small presented a plan designed to support Black Lives Matter and potentially take focus away from controversial Steve Young Boardwalk Hall event.

  • Paint BLM on MLK BLVD
  • BLM messages on the Impactivate Boardwalk screens.
  • CRDA promoting BLM on screens seen by visitors arriving off expressway.
  • Casinos encouraged to help.

Steve Young wants to paint “Black Lives Matter” on Boardwalk in front of Boardwalk Hall, even though that’s illegal. Of course, the rule of law hasn’t stopped Young before.

PUBLIC COMMENT: Dude just loves yelling thru his megaphone. Telling all within earshot, even children, that cops are bad. Especially white ones. Young setting race relations back 50 years.

Wonder why fewer people want a career in law enforcement? Maybe Steve Young can help answer that question.

The first demonstration of Summer 2020 was on May 31. It quickly devolved into looting and destruction through-out the AC business district and Tanger Outlets.

Hundreds of jobs were lost after those Steve Young riots. Many retail stores decided against re-opening. About 100 people were charged with crimes.

On July 4, 2020, Young was arrested during what quickly became a non-peaceful protest. He wanted to “shut the city down”. He settled for blocking the AC Expressway. Dangerous. Stupid. Illegal.

Atlantic City Council voted YES to start process of removing Steve Young from 2 appointed positions.

Atlantic City Council voted last week to begin the long, clunky process of removing Young from his seats on the Citizens Advisory and Planning Boards. Mayor Small and some on ATLANTIC CITY Council would like to boot Steve Young from his position on the Planning Board.
