Foley for Mayor: Atlantic City Still Silent on Student Sex Abuse Scandal

Atlantic City Public Schools still Silent on Kayan Frazier, Foley is asking Governor Murphy to get involved.”

Atlantic City Mayoral Candidate Former Assemblyman Tom Foley issued press release:

Tom Foley: Two weeks ago, I joined countless other members of the Atlantic City community in calling for justice for the children and families of Atlantic City Public Schools.

We’re demanding answers and resources for the children that were habitually abused by admitted child molester and substitute teacher Kayan Frazier, who’s now in federal custody faces 30 years in prison on child exploitation charges.

Instead of a thorough investigation, transparency and assistance to students, Atlantic City Schools, Superintendent Barry Caldwell and President Shay Steele have remained silent on the topic.

Therefore, today I sent a letter to the Office of Governor Murphy asking that He, Attorney General Grewal and the Commissioner of Education conduct and full and complete investigation on all the events surrounding Kayan Frazier within the Atlantic City Public School District.

Thomas Foley is a former Atlantic City Fire Department battalion chief; Foley has also served in NJ General Assembly, Atlantic County freeholder and as a city councilman in Pleasantville.
