SEE PICS > Harrah’s New Waterfront Conference Center SUMMER 2015

Atlantic City Mayor and bow-tie aficionado; Don Guardian will be extra busy this Summer…..attending to multiple ribbon cutting ceremonies. “This new Harrah’s conference center is a game changer — it’s where Atlantic City has to move”, says Guardian. Opening in August 2015, Harrah’s new Waterfront Conference Center will be the largest, most technologically advanced meeting facility anywhere from Baltimore to Boston.

The first corporate event will be in September. Wow…more than 50 confirmed bookings are already in place.

About $12 million is the projected revenue so far for Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center. This $125.8 million conference center will bring another 100,000 square-feet of meeting space to Atlantic City.

FYI: Meet AC, a nonprofit tourism economic development agency, was created last year to focus on meetings and conventions in Atlantic City. James Wood, who ran Convention and Visitors Bureaus in Kentucky and Rhode Island, was recently hired as Meet AC’s president and CEO.

Also coming Summer 2015: Resorts Casino Hotel’s new multifaceted convention and event center, adding 12,000 square feet of space and 11 additional conference rooms.
