Listen to Mel Taylor WPG 1450 Radio Interview:  Atlantic City and Alex Marino welcome a new group of future AC leadership. A small but diverse set of 30 individuals spent one day each month together during 2015. They wanted a deeper look into what makes Atlantic City tick.

The 2015 Lead Atlantic City Tomorrow (LEAD ACT) class officially concludes another year for the leadership-building program with a formal graduation ceremony on Wed., Dec 9 at Dante Hall, 14 North Mississippi Ave. LEAD ACT grads increase their Atlantic City smarts in regards to Public Safety, Education, Arts & Culture, Economic Development, Environment, Health Care & Human Services, History of Atlantic City, Interpersonal Skill Development, Conflict Resolution, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Team Building.

Alex Marino helped start and coordinate the popular program. He was awarded the first-ever CRDA Spirit of Leadership Award for his work.

LEAD ACT Graduation Ceremony at Dante Hall in Atlantic City

LEAD ACT, a partnership between the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) and Stockton University. Through seminars, guest speakers, case studies, and topical readings, individuals are presented issues that affect the general well-being of the City, and recognize the need for better collaborations and enhanced partnerships.

The festivities start at 5:30 pm with a reception followed by the program at 6 pm. Many local dignitaries and community leaders will be there. The keynote speaker for the evening will be Chris Paladino, President of ACDevco; AC Development Corporation.
