We call him Mr. Atlantic City, the man with a heart that pounds for this city by the sea. Well, that heart was scheduled for it’s 87 year tune up this week. Pinky Kravitz underwent open heart surgery and is doing well we’re happy to report. Doctors bypassed an artery and replaced a valve in the legendary broadcaster’s ticker.
Never missed a day of radio work in his 57 year broadcasting career….until this week. Mr. Kravitz is the afternoon man on WOND Radio 1400am & 92.5 fm. You can listen to Pinky’s Corner from 4-6p daily.
Efforts are underway to name a street….no…..a whole freekin’ CORNER after the Pinkster in Atlantic City. Details soon….
