Um, don’t look now, but it looks like New Jersey could be a full-blown, Sanctuary State. WTF. We can thank to NJ Governor, Phil Murphy for that one.
Murphy recently signed an executive order, something called the ‘Immigrant Trust Directive’. This will virtually tie the hands of NJ law enforcement when it comes to protecting citizens from illegal aliens.
Pew Research estimates that New Jersey has about 500,000 immigrants who are in the country illegally.
New Jersey police officers. State, County and Local. New, far more restrictive rules of enforcement, of federal immigration laws.
New Jersey Police prohibited from helping civil immigration enforcement by ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
This Immigrant Trust Directive does the following:
- New Jersey Police can’t stop, question, arrest, search, or detain anyone based solely on actual or suspected immigration status.
- New Jersey Police can’t participate in civil immigration enforcement operations conducted by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).”
- New Jersey Police can’t provide ICE with access to state or local law enforcement resources, including equipment, office space, databases, or property, unless those resources are readily available to the public.”
New Jersey will now slow the critical work of ICE.
Did ya know? New Jersey taxpayers are now helping illegal aliens stay in NJ, illegally. Taxpayer funds are now being used for legal defense of those who have entered our country, illegally.
Opponents of the move are furious.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy seems to be supporting illegals, far more than our own citizens.
Illegals are now one step closer to voting. Just like California.
