Original Music & Cool Hang, But Closing. Boneyard Atlantic City Says Goodbye.

The Boneyard Bar & Grill is shutting its doors for good effective Oct. 1. This was one of AC’s only spots to watch live, original music.

The Boneyard was unique. It was needed too, in a town where big box casinos dominate entertainment and attractions.

Cover bands and tribute acts were not welcome at the Boneyard.

From the Boneyard:
“Effective October 1st The Boneyard Bar & Grill will be closing its doors for good. The Boneyard family thanks everyone who had walked through our doors, whether it be for a rock show, punk, acoustic and even hip hop, or just came in for a beer! We have truly enjoyed serving you, our friends, strangers and our extended family.”

In order to give itself a proper goodbye, there will be a final concert held Saturday Sept. 30. The all-day event known as “Bye Bye Boneyard” will feature bands on both indoor and outdoor stages and will run from noon to 9 p.m. with a hip-hop after party closing out the night.
