Revel Could Become World’s Wildest Waterpark

Florida developer; Glenn Straub, received a final court order today approving his $95.4 million purchase of Revel. Plans say that he will build a huge indoor/outdoor water park and run high-speed ferries from Manhattan. Straub boasts that this will be the world’s biggest water park.

Revel closed Sept. 2 after just two years of operation.

‘Family-friendly amenities with some gambling action’ says Straub. This $108 million water park would be inside / outside to create a year-round attraction. Architectural renderings for the project are already in the works. Straub says it’s critical for Atlantic City to add more year-round attractions,  and become a more diversified tourist destination.
