The Atlantic City Boardwalk has been getting a massive security upgrade over the past few months.
This boost in Boardwalk safety comes as the ACPD rolls out new Boardwalk officers on foot & bike, and brighter LED lights and security camera installations. These are examples of casino tax dollars…well spent. Calvi Electric of Atlantic City doing great job with the install.
The Boardwalk security cameras have ability to pan, tilt & zoom along the boards, beaches and intersecting streets. Video feeds will be centrally monitored and recorded.
To those who enjoyed creating chaos and committing crimes on the Boardwalk in the past, you may want to ply your trade elsewhere.
These digital security tools are quite effective at reducing crime and various sorts of monkey business. The cameras don’t lie.
Extra kudos to the CRDA for allocating 10+ million dollars of casino taxes towards public safety initiatives in Atlantic City.
