Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of a Minor. On June 27, 2018, a wanted man was arrested after being charged with sexual assault of a minor.
At 10:51 am, Detective Fariyd Holmes and detectives of the Special Investigations Section arrested Michael Rease in the beach block of Tennessee Avenue. Rease was wanted following an investigation that led to criminal charges and a warrant being issued for his arrest.
Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested on Tennessee Ave
On June 25 at 2:45 am, patrol officers responded to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, for a report of a 15 year old girl who had been sexually assaulted. An investigation by Detective Dembe Baako revealed that Rease was driving the victim when he parked the vehicle, forced her into the backseat, and sexually assaulted her.
ARRESTED: Michael Rease, a 28 year old male from Pleasantville, NJ.
CHARGES: Sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Rease was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
