Atlantic City Boosting Conferences & Conventions.
AC has always been about entertainment, gaming, the beach, concerts, championship boxing, celebrity sightings, etc. But the road to building a new AC will feature many non-gaming business operations…like conference centers. Case in point: Construction of the new Harrah’s conference center in the Marina District is almost complete. Another developer is planning a conference center for the Boardwalk.
The 250,000 square-foot facility at Harrahs will offer 125,000 square feet of meeting space and feature two 50,000 square foot pillar-less ballrooms, each divisible into as may as 27 separate breakout rooms. Additional breakout rooms, grand promenades and dedicated banquet kitchens will also be available. A completion date has not been announced.
