Waterpark Proposed for Atlantic Club on Atlantic City Boardwalk

Will Atlantic City finally get a much needed water park? We’ll reserve judgement until 49 days from now. That’s the window of time that R& R Development Group must get the deal done to take over the former Atlantic Club, Hilton / Golden Nugget.

The Ventnor based developers plan to build an indoor water park, hotel, restaurants, arcade and go-kart track .

Dolphin Village could be the name of this proposed Atlantic City Boardwalk project.

If the deal goes thru, 300 rooms could be open by Fall 2017. Water park construction could take up to 24 months to complete.

The currently vacant Atlantic Club closed it’s doors in 2014.

Last year, the PA based Endeavor Group planned on a waterpark at the Atlantic Club, but timing was bad and financing fell through.
