Community Walks with AC PD

The Atlantic City Police Department added to their growing list of community events aimed at keeping local neighborhoods safe. ‘Pizza with a Cop’ and regular community walks are just two of the ways that Police Chief Henry White is connecting his department with the many communities of Atlantic City.

Local, civic leaders like Kaleem Shabazz have also increased their efforts in bridging the gap between the public safety departments of Atlantic City with a variety of local community organizations.

Kaleem Shabazz, Imam Amin Muhammad and other religious and civic leaders, got together on Friday, July 10 in front of the All-Wars Memorial Building for the first community-walk of 2015 to increase peace and co-operation with law enforcement and the community.

The walk lasted one hour. This community initiative is sponsored by the Coalition for a Safe Community, ACPD, Fellowship of Churches and other community organizations.

Come out and join them every Friday, All Wars Memorial Building. 6pm sharp. 1 Hour Walk.
