2015 Atlantic City Airshow

Play by play of the 2015 Atlantic City Airshow on Wednesday, September 2 can now be heard on WPG Talk Radio 1450AM and wpg1450.com.

Townsquare Media; the home of WPG’s Harry Hurley and Michelle Dawn Mooney recently announced that they’re the new radio home for the annual ‘Thunder Over the Boardwalk’.

This year’s Atlantic City airshow will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the New Jersey Army National Guard, the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Coast Guard, the New Jersey State Police Aviation Unit, numerous helicopter fly-bys and more. The Golden Knights will not perform because the investigation into a crash on Aug. 15 at the Chicago Air and Water Show has not been cleared or approved by the Pentagon. David Schultz, air boss of the Atlantic City Airshow, confirmed that the team would not be performing.

The airshow begins at 11a and is free to the public. Large crowds are expected to pack the boardwalk and beaches to watch one of the largest airshows in the country.
