The 2015 Atlantic City Airshow packed the beaches and Boardwalk on Wed., Sept 2. SEE PICTURES>. The stunning program was produced by Schultz Air Shows, one of the best in the business.
Joe Kelly and his team at the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce did an outstanding job of attracting ten’s of thousands of visitors to our scenic shores. Kelly deserves extra credit for accomplishing this on a September weekday, when many kids were already back in school.
This year’s airshow (the 13th annual) got a nice media upgrade too. The addition of local Radio and Internet streaming support via popular talk-show host Harry Hurley & WPG 1450am Radio really kicked the event up a notch. The live play-by-play of tilting planes, roaring jets and various aircraft soaring by…was superb. The ability to hear an air-show professional describe what’s going on via a smartphone, made the 2015 Atlantic City Airshow even more engaging.
Pre-airshow banter with Hurley and SOJO 104.5 FM’s; Heather DeLuca, chatting up the outgoing Miss America was a fun listen too.
New this year was the addition of live web-streaming by the up-n-coming local media company known as Triax-57, lead by John Heinz.
