ACR Forced to Keep Lights on at Old Revel Building

2015-05-14_16-26-37The NJ Department of Community Affairs; DCA, has ordered power supplier ACR Energy Partners to keep the lights on at the former Revel property.

Glenn Straub’s Polo North Country Club Inc. & ACR are fighting over the cost of energy. Reports suggest fees for ACR power are unrealistic and are at least double the normal rates.

ACR turned off the power to the old Revel property on April 9, just days after Straub purchased it.

Officials say the property is a fire trap if there’s no electricity to run the fire-suppression there. Straub says ACR is squatting on his land.

Note: Atlantic City’s top attorney; Lloyd Levenson, looks to be providing some level of assistance to Straub & Polo North. Llevenson is cc:d in the documents drafted and served by the State of New Jersey. (See NJ Atty General Docs Below). With the highly respected Levenson playing some role in this process, we’re of the opinion that issues regarding Revel, Straub, Polo North, ACR & Showboat are finally on their way to being resolved.
