Uber says they’re serious about keeping passengers safe by including driver pics, license plate numbers, car descriptions and ratings for both drivers and passengers. Uber also runs extensive background checks on drivers. Uber researches criminal history, motor vehicle records and potential sex offender status.

Limos and taxis in Atlantic City say UBER background checks are not sufficient.
