Atlantic City Boardwalk Committee Wants Less Noisy Bungalow Beach Bar

The Atlantic City Boardwalk Committee is seeking a less noisy beach bar. Sherrie Kendall, spokesperson for the committee reports that numerous steps have been taken to address the noise issue, specifically about loud music pumping from the popular Bungalow Beach Bar.

Efforts have started to rescind legislation that exempt beach bars from current Atlantic City noise ordinances. ‘We continue to work towards a peaceful environment for residents that doesn’t infringe on businesses that provide outdoor entertainment’ said Kendall in a recent email blast.

Bungalow Beach Bar is still playing music til 3 am. Their speakers should face the ocean. Many people at the Ritz are upset.

Boardwalk Committee members are in regular touch with Dale Finch, Director of the Department of Licensing and Inspections. Finch is working to resolve this issue for both The Ritz and The Ocean Club condominiums on the Boardwalk. Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian has been made aware of this challenge and is working towards a solution as well.
