The 6th ward Councilman is leading the conversation about moving AC’s massive, social service programs out of the tourism district.
No one disputes that this would substantially reduce crime. ‘But the move would have to be executed with compassion and smarts’ says Kurtz. Residents want the town safer & cleaner. We have a heart. The citizens of Atlantic City want to help those who need help.
Why is Atlantic City responsible for servicing all of Atlantic County?
- Atlantic County sends ex-offenders to AC.
- Atlantic County sends sex-offenders to AC.
- AC is the only local town with a needle exchange. Even Pleasantville doesn’t have a needle exchange.
