At a meeting last Tuesday, the Board of the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA) approved the release of a draft Amended Tourism District Master Plan for public and stakeholder comment.

CRDA staff will host two public hearings about the Plan from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on March 13 and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on March 29 at the Atlantic City Convention Center, where free parking will be available for all attendees.

The public is invited to attend these sessions to hear a presentation about the proposed amendments to the Tourism District Master Plan and to offer comment.

The proposed plan aims to facilitate development within the Tourism District by encouraging complementary land uses and stimulating investment in non-gaming and related projects.  The Authority worked with seasoned land use professionals and the City to design these amendments.

In addition to the public hearings, the CRDA will accept comments from the public in writing through Monday, April 10, 2017.

Send comments below…..to Mr. Lance Landgraf, Director of Planning, CRDA.

The CRDA will carefully review all comments and consider adoption of the Amended Tourism District Master Plan at its public meeting on April 18, 2017.
