Philly TV scooped the local media….again. While the Atlantic City newspaper & radio stations were once again mocking and/or ignoring Glenn Straub’s plan for resurrecting REVEL, CBS3-TV snagged an up-close look at Straub’s amazing progress with the former REVEL property. WATCH VIDEO.
Still targeting June 15 as the grand re-opening, Straub says a co-ed spa will open, and multiple restaurants will take reservations too.
The casino portion of the old REVEL property will not be open….yet. The Department of Gaming still needs to put their stamp of approval on the facility.
According to the CBS 3 interview with Straub, bicyclists will enjoy a course retro-fitted into portions of the parking garage. A 144 foot ‘ropes course’ is being installed for the lobby….including a variety of zip lines. According to Straub, it looks like up to 1,000 hotel rooms could open as well. For now, casino gaming will come later. Look for a new name….and a designated operator to be announced soon.
