Getting Ready for May 22 Reveal

Results of the Tropicana Atlantic City $50 Million Dollar revitalization will be ready for public viewing in just a few weeks.

The CRDA; Casino Reinvestment and Development Authority and Tropicana funded these projects. 

“Visitors have even more reasons to come to Atlantic City, “said John Palmieri, Executive Director of the CRDA.

The highlight of Tropicana’s renovation is an over-the-top and free multimedia light and sound show on the Boardwalk. Massive LED screens, strobe lights and continuous digital media displays will light up the night in choreographed multimedia light and sound show.

The LifeCenter Fitness at Tropicana opens on May 8. This two-story fitness center will offer hotel guests and the public the latest fitness equipment, programming and amenities including locker rooms and showers, as well as studios dedicated for Yoga/Pilates, group indoor cycling and cardiovascular exercise classes. Guests will enter through the Quarter entrance near Starbucks or from Brighton Avenue.

Kickoff Festivities

The general public is invited to attend a free kickoff event for the light and sound show on Friday, May 22, 2015. The festivities begin at 6 p.m.

Tony Rodio, President and CEO of Tropicana Entertainment Inc. and Mayor Don Guardian will welcome all attendees with a brief speech, followed by the featured debut performance of the spectacular multimedia light and sound show. The finale to the celebration includes fireworks immediately following the free multimedia light and sound show on both Friday and Saturday night.
