The Chelsea Hotel in Atlantic City has 100 jobs to fill. Want one? A job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22.
Some positions available: bartenders, lifeguards and pool attendants; restaurant and cocktail servers; security guards and bell attendants; desk clerks and room housekeepers, HVAC technicians, massage therapists, night auditors and more. Most positions are seasonal, May through September. Some jobs could become permanent.
Advice for anyone interested in one of these prime gigs:
- Come dressed for success — no jeans, sneakers, hats (or) sweatshirts
- Must comply with Chelsea’s strict grooming standards. No facial hair, visible tattoos, piercings, etc.
- Applicants must be prepared to be interviewed on the spot
- Bring a resume
- Background checks and drug screening may occur
Time: 1p to 5 p. Wednesday at hotel, 111 S. Chelsea Ave., Atlantic City.
Heads up: expect hundreds lining up outside the hotel hours before the job fair.
