Court Update on Troubling Atlantic City Casino PILOT Tax Deal

Is the Atlantic City Casino PILOT deal, a bad bet for local and county taxpayers? Will Judge Julio Mendez call that sweet, 10 year tax break for Atlantic City casinos… unconstitutional? Most hope so. Mayor and Council President Race to Spend Last of Controversial Atlantic City MGM Endowment Fund

So, just how much of that controversial $5mil MGM Atlantic City Endowment Fund was actually put to good use? Apparently, not much. Most of those dollars have been connected to questionable allocations. The CRDA Land-Use division heard Hard Rock’s plans for a combo gas station, car wash convenience store. It’s all part of the proposed redevelopment of the closed Trump Taj Mahal.
